How to Prevent Cakey Makeup

1. Can’t stress you enough how important Skincare is !

Before you apply any makeup on your skin you want to check your skin elasticity. Touch your skin to see if your skin is bouncy and plumped. This how indicate that skin has enough moisture to apply an makeup. Make sure you exfoliate at least twice a week.

2. What is too much makeup? 

When applying makeup, you can always use more but you cant take back how much product you use. With any liquid or powders apply layer by layer. 

For example: Apply one thin layer of foundation and allow it t dry before you add more foundation. Same with powders, your face a liquid base you want to apply thin layer of setting powder, specially if you are planning to bake. 

This will allow the makeup up to not cling onto your base but to create smooth makeup application.

3.  How to manage product control.

Warm up your liquid or wax base makeup on the back of your hand, this isn’t just for a smooth makeup application by allow the product to active but it also allows you to control how much product you want to apply on your face. Evenly dispute the product on your brush to the back of your hand to create that even layer.

Powder allows your makeup to stay put through out your day, but that does not mean to put tons. It just mean to put enough, tap off your brushes and press that powder puff into your palm to even dispute the powder before applying specially under the eyes. Take your brush or sponge blend out any creases before you do this technique.
